Marian Hamill Koch

Marian Sarah Hamill Koch, 93, of 124 Perquimans Court, Hertford, NC, died Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. Mrs. Koch was born on August 27, 1920 in White Haven, PA and was the daughter of the late Thomas Jackson and Edith Hamill. Formerly employed with her husband, the late Warren Morgan Koch, in the operation of Warren's Hobby Shop, they were active in Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Drexel Hill, PA. Surviving are two daughters, Pamela Susan Tamburri and husband J. Steven of Quakertown, PA and Sandra Fortier and husband Lee of Hertford; a brother, Richard Hamill and wife Sandy of Coopersburg, PA; and two grandchildren, William Tamburri of Philadelphia, PA and Jennifer Somma and husband Jason of Pittsburgh, PA. Private services will be held in Pennsylvania. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, assisted the family with arrangements.
