Jean Kuchinsky Cestaro

Jean Marie Kuchinsky Cestaro, 71, of 119 Poplar Street, Hertford, NC, and formerly of Monroe, NY, died Sunday, April 13, 2014 in her home. Mrs. Cestaro was born in Shenandoah Heights, PA on October 22, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Adam and Alberta Nojunas Kuchinsky. A Catholic by faith, she had retired as a bus driver from the Washingtonville, New York Public School System. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Warren F. Cestaro, Sr.; a daughter, Sue Ann Cestaro of Hertford; three sons, Dion Cestaro and fiancée Chris of Fort Myers, FL, Warren F. "Butch" Cestaro, Jr. and wife Kat of Hertford, and Robert B. Cestaro and wife Lena of Wake Forest; four grandchildren, Vincent, Paul, Karina, and Frank Cestaro; and her "grand-dog", Oliver. A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel and will be officiated by the Rev. Tracy Smith. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following that service. The family will receive friends again on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
