Hardy Junious Peedin

Hardy Junious Peedin, 90, died Friday, May 16, 2014 in Sentara Nursing Center- Currituck. Mr. Peedin was born in Johnston County and was the son of the late William Andrew and Betsy Ann Whitley Peedin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Kennedy Peedin; three children, William A. Peedin, Bonnie Scheuer, and Tommy Peedin; and a daughter-in-law, Dolores Peedin. Surviving are his two daughters, Barbara Joan Beale of Chesapeake, VA and Joy Peedin Fraioli and husband Pete of Elizabeth City; two sons, H. Freddy Peedin, Sr. and wife Janet of Shiloh and Jimmy Peedin of Matoaca, VA; 13 grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren. At his request, no services will be held. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
