Robert Anthony Steinetz

Robert Anthony Steinetz, 80, of Pinellas Park, FL, and formerly of Scranton, PA, died Friday, June 13, 2014 at his son's home in Edenton, NC. Mr. Steinetz was born in Lackawanna County, PA on March 21, 1934 and was the son of the late Edward and Ida Rankey Steinetz. A retired printer with the Scranton Times, he was a member of Post 0920 of the American Legion in Scranton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Bannon Steinetz, and by his daughter, Debra Cohawitz. Surviving are his son, Robert B. Steinetz and wife Marie of Edenton; a sister, Verna Bednarek of Scranton; and five grandchildren, Ashley, Robbie, Kyle, Josh, and Tyler. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 21st, at 1:00 p.m. in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery in Elmhurst, PA and will be officiated by the Rev. Art Davis.
