Max Passink, Jr.

Emanuel Max Passink, Jr., 75, of Hunt Club Trail, Hertford, NC, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton. Mr. Passink was born in Campbell County, VA on July 23, 1938, and was the son of the late Emanuel Max, Sr. and Kitty Woldridge Passink. He was a retired chemical engineer. Surviving are his wife of 7 years, Barbara Ann Mulkey Passink; two daughters, Laura Caddy and husband Mike of Ormond Beach, FL and Paula Passink of Hertford; two step-daughters, Debbie Williams and husband Bruce of Chattanooga, TN and Kim Roberson of Indianapolis, IN; a brother, Paul Passink of Concord, VA; a granddaughter, Blythe Kirkham; and a step-grandson, Joseph Williams. At his request, no services will be held. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is handling arrangements.
