Linda White Zimmerman

Linda Virginia White Zimmerman, 66, of 372 Oak Ridge Drive, Farmville, NC, died Thursday, June 19, 2014 in Washington County Hospital, Plymouth, NC. Mrs. Zimmerman was born in Gates County on November 29, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Wilson and Novella Hollowell White. Past employments included sewing work, assembly work with Proctor & Gamble, and home care for the elderly. She was a member of Oak Grove Christian Church in Sunbury. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Zimmerman, and by her brother, Fred White. Surviving are her daughter, Denise Brann of Farmville; her sister, Faye Bunch Spivey of Suffolk; her sister-in-law, Sheri Raleigh of Jim Falls, WI; her father-in-law, Marlin Zimmerman of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Jaelyn Bracley and Javontae Williams; three nephews, and two nieces. Graveside services will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in Oak Grove Christian Church Cemetery, Folly Road, Sunbury. Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, is handling arrangements.
