Bobby Ray Bullock

Bobby Ray Bullock, 61, of 130 Discovery Trail, Hertford, NC, died Monday, June 30, 2014 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton. Mr. Bullock was born in Norfolk, VA on November 19, 1952, and was the son of Willie Fay Leggett Bullock of Glen Burnie, MD and the late Robert James Bullock. He was an avid toy train collector. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 15 years, Shirley McKinney Bullock; two step-daughters, Kathleen Digia and husband David and Shirley Boughter and husband Mark, all of New Castle, PA; two step-sons, James Estermyer and wife Stacy of Crofton, MD and Mark Estermyer and wife Beth of Pittsburgh, PA; four sisters, Diane Scherer of Glen Burnie, Kay Shaver of Easton, MD, Kathy Miller of Glen Burnie, and Kalena Bullock of Tennessee; a brother, Raymond Bullock of Columbia, MD; 11 step-grandchildren; and 14 step-great-grandchildren. A gathering for friends and family will be held Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford.
