Camilla Rose Twiddy Driver, 88, of Countryside Drive, Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in Windsor House. Mrs. Driver was born in Pitt County on March 15, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Charlie Henry and Cynthia Ambrose Twiddy. A graduate of Kinston High School, and a 1951 graduate of the Greenville Beauty School, she was the retired owner and operator of Anne's Beauty Salon in Edenton, a member of The Memorial Baptist Church in Greenville, and was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #40. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold McLane Driver; sisters, Julia Johnston and Mahalia Butler; and by her brother, David S. Twiddy. Surviving are her daughter, Arnette Driver Forehand and husband Carroll of Edenton; two sons, Charles Allen Driver of Cordova, AL and Daniel McLane Driver of Jasper, AL; her sister, Lois T. Johnson of Greenville; seven grandchildren, Rosalind, Michelle, Danny, Dawn, Brandy, William, and Kevin; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by the Revs. Walter G. Byrum and Terry Jones. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family Friday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home and all other times at Arnette and Carroll's home, 106 Countryside Drive, Edenton.
