Carolyn Winstead Spencer

Carolyn Randa Winstead Spencer, 70, of 154 Desert Road, Corapeake, NC, died Saturday, July 26, 2014 in her home. Mrs. Spencer was born in Rocky Mount on August 4, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Randolph and Dorothy Kesler Winstead. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Elbert Lee Spencer, Jr.; two daughters, Kim Cochran and husband Butch of Corapeake and Dana Pickens and husband Banks of Charlotte; two brothers, Dennis Winstead of Corapeake and Richard Winstead of Virginia Beach, VA; and two grandchildren, Addison Cochran and Spencer Pickens. A gathering for friends and family will be held Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville.
