James Edward East

James Edward "Mad Dog" East, 57, of 107 Legion Lakes, Dudley, NC, died Saturday, August 2, 2014. Mr. East was born in Chowan County on October 3, 1956, and was the son of the late Russell Edward and Sadie Lee East. He was formerly employed in the carpentry and mobile home transport fields. Surviving are two daughters, Courtney Baker and husband Eric of Edenton and Jamie East of Barco; a sister, Brenda East Lilley and husband Bud, and a brother, Russell J. East and wife Emma, all of Camden; and a grandson, Ethan. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton.
