Frederick Carlton Bunch

Frederick Carlton Bunch, 85, of 104 Morris Circle, Edenton, NC, died Thursday, August 7, 2014 in Chowan River Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Bunch was born in Chowan County on October 8, 1928 and was the son of the late Lloyd Carlton and Aileen Murray Bunch. The retired owner and operator of Fred C. Bunch Trucking Co., he was a member of Edenton Baptist Church and the Edward G. Bond Post #40 of the American Legion. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Darlene Bunch Riddick, and his sister, Hurley Bunch Winborne. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Madge Copeland Bunch; two sons, Charles Gary Bunch and wife Vickie of York, PA and Milton Art Bunch and wife Crystal of Hertford; a brother, Harold Lloyd Bunch of Edenton; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held. Friends may join the family at the residence. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, handled arrangements.
