Lillian Blanchette Cuthrell

Lillian Blanchette Cuthrell, 74, of 80 Northeast Drive, Gates, NC, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in her home. Mrs. Cuthrell was born in New Bedford, MA on July 23, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Louis and Bessie Williams Blanchette. A homemaker, she was a member of Reynoldson Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Cuthrell. Surviving are her daughters, Debra Ann DeCamp and husband Harold of Portsmouth, VA, Linda Marie Hudgins and husband Ken of Gates, and Helen Ellis and husband Chris of Chapel Hill; two sons, Michael Joseph Stone and Arthur Lawrence Stone and wife Tomoko, all of Portsmouth; three sisters, Virginia, Cathy, and Betty, all of Massachusetts; nine grandchildren, Robert, Elizabeth, Jacob, Amanda, James, Adam, Tiffany, Summer, and Dallas; and a great-grandson, Racer. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in Reynoldson Baptist Church by the Revs. Cody Brinkley and Billy Presley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family Saturday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, or in the social hall of the church immediately following the service on Sunday.
