Judy Summerill Parsons

Judy Deane Summerill Parsons, 71, of 107 Kickapoo Trail, died Sunday, August 24, 2014 in her home. Mrs. Parsons was born in Norfolk, VA on August 13, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Herman and Angela Sykes Summerill. A homemaker, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Wayne S. Banks. Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Franklin Leroy Parsons; her son, Bobby Lee Parsons and his wife Wanda of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Jimmy and Kenny Summerill, both of Boykins, VA; three grandchildren, Karen Parsons Yowell and her husband Jason, Bobby Lee Parsons, Jr. and his wife Jamie, and Mallory Parsons; and three great-grandchildren, Kailen and Ayden Yowell, and Abby Parsons. In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, assisted the family with arrangements.
