Patricia Anne McGee Duguay, 63, of 1602 Winslow Street, Elizabeth City, NC, died Friday, October 3, 2014 in Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City. Patsy, the daughter of the Rev. Hubert "Jim", Jr. and Beverly McGee of Elizabeth City, was born in San Francisco, CA on May 26, 1951. A registered nurse, she was employed for many years with Sentara Health Systems. As an active parishioner of Christ Episcopal Church, she was a member of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) and served on the Altar Guild. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband of 35 years, Joseph Norman Duguay; two sons, Fred Myerle Young (wife Meghan) of Boston, MA and Matthew Paul McGee (wife Kristi) of Lynchburg, VA; a step-daughter, Corinne Leigh Duguay of Elizabeth City; a step-son, Jeffery Scott Duguay of Nicholasville, KY; two sisters, Connie McGee Marcy (husband Marvin) of Polson, MT and Susan Beverly McGee of Versailles, KY; and two grandchildren, Savannah Grace McGee and Christian Thomas Duguay. Patsy graduated from St. Dunstan's Episcopal School in St. Croix, Virgin Islands and received her BS in Nursing at Southern Indiana University in Evansville. She has been recognized many times for excellence in the field of nursing. A memorial service celebrated by the Rev. Chip Broadfoot will be held Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church. Friends may join the family Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the home of her parents, 1609 Rivershore Road, Elizabeth City.
