Sandra Huggins Smith

Sandra Ann Huggins Smith, 63, of 29 Reynoldson Road, Gates, NC, died Friday, October 24, 2014 in her home. Mrs. Smith was born in Columbia, SC on December 26, 1950 and was the daughter of Henry Malcolm Huggins and the late Annie Delores Gainey. A homemaker, for many years she had also been employed as a substitute teacher. She was a member of Reynoldson Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Huggins. Surviving along with her father are her husband of nearly 40 years, Bradford Brown Smith; a daughter, Megan Smith Frank and husband Benjamin; a sister, Shari Morris; a brother, Doug Huggins; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in Reynoldson Baptist Church Cemetery by the Revs. Cody Brinkley and Jimmy Smith. Friends may join the family in the social hall of the church immediately following the service, and all other times at the residence.
