Sally Marie Brown

Sally Marie Brown, 78, of Carter's Road, Gatesville, NC, died Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Down East Health & Rehabilitation Center, Gatesville. Miss Brown was born in Gates County on May 12, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Luvenia Brown. She was a member of Eure Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lee Detman and Helen Pritchard. Surviving are two brothers, William T. Brown of Eure and Charles Frank Brown of Gates; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Eure Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Wayne Proctor. A private burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville.
