Agnes Ashley Lawson

Agnes Mae Ashley Lawson, 53, of 106 Blackfoot Trial, Hertford, NC, died Friday, January 2, 2015 in Vidant Beaufort Hospital, Washington. Mrs. Lawson was born in Virginia on September 30, 1961, and was the daughter of the late Thomas Andrew, Sr. and Agnes Louise Brickhouse Ashley. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donny Ray Lawson, Sr. and her son, Donny Ray Lawson, Jr. Surviving are her daughter, Crystal Lawson Griffin and husband Peter of Hertford; a son, Steven Anthony Ashley and wife Cherie of The Philippines; two sisters, Michelle Wilkinson of Chesapeake, VA and Peggy Ashley of Elizabeth City; two brothers, Thomas Ashley, Jr. and Donnie Ashley, both of Edenton; and three grandchildren, Donny Ray Lawson, III, Jason Lawson, and Kyla Ashley.
