Robert Spurgean Caulk

Robert Spurgean Caulk, 65, of 143 Perkins Road, Gatesville, NC, died Saturday, January 24, 2015 in his home. Mr. Caulk was born in Bladen County on January 9, 1950, and was the son of the late Spurgean and Florence Walters Caulk. An asphalt superintendent, he had retired from Rose Brothers Paving Company in Ahoskie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Liz. Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Joyce Byrum Caulk; four daughters, Anne, Wendy, Brittney, and Courtney; three sons, Phillip, Robert, Jr., and Ronnie; and 13 grandchildren. A gathering for friends and family will be held Saturday, February 7th, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville.
