Lillian Bunch Tynch

Lillian Marie Bunch Tynch, 85, of Harris Landing Road, Edenton, NC, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 in Chowan River Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Edenton. Mrs. Tynch was born in Chowan County on May 23, 1929, and was the daughter of the late William Cullen and Cora Nixon Bunch. Retired from Quality Control with Seabrook Blanching Corp., she was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Raleigh Tynch, Sr., her son, James R. "Jimmy" Tynch, Jr., and by her sister, Elizabeth B. Forehand. Surviving are two sons, Timmie Tynch and wife Karen Lawrence Tynch of Edenton and Dan Dellinger and wife Lisa Dellinger of Greensboro; her daughter-in-law, Charlene Ralph Tynch of Edenton; four grandchildren, Jenny Tynch Coppersmith and husband Jeff, J.R. Tynch, III, Josh Tynch, and Andrew Dellinger; and by two great-granddaughters, Kayelee and Lilly Coppersmith. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Rocky Hock Baptist Church by Dr. James Horton. Burial will follow in the Tynch Family Cemetery. Friends may join the family Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, and all other times at Timmie and Karen's home, 1608 W. Queen Street, both in Edenton.
