Linda L. Ware

Linda L. Ware, 72, of 136 Schooner Landing Drive, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in her home. Mrs. Ware was born in Norfolk, VA on July 24, 1942, and was the daughter of the late John and Audrey Bailey Buzzy. A retired stylist with Empress Beauty Salon in Norfolk, she later worked as the secretary-treasurer of both Empire Electric & Machine, and Bobby Ware Builders. She was a member of Open Door Church. Enjoyments were shopping, scrap booking, and her daily breakfasts with her regular group of friends at McDonald's. Surviving are her husband of nearly 49 years, Bobby J. Ware; a daughter, Lynn Bass and husband Michael of Merry Hill; a son, Mark Ware and companion Tracy Walker of Manteo; grandchildren, Amanda Avery of Northridge, CA, Mason Berry of Merry Hill, Jessie Ware and Ethan Ware, both of Manteo; a sister, Elizabeth Booth and husband Charles of Manteo; two brothers, Ernest Buzzy and wife Betty of Virginia Beach and John Buzzy, Jr. and wife Madeline of Glen Allen, VA; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by the Rev. Steve Mizell. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
