Willard Roy Partin

Willard Roy Partin, 82, of 133 Sycamore Circle, Edenton, NC, died Monday, April 6, 2015 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton. Mr. Partin was born in Knox County, KY on July 2, 1932, and was the son of the late James and Connie Syme Partin. A retired builder in the residential and commercial construction industry, he had attended Albemarle Baptist Church while living in Edenton. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard Fischer, and by his son-in-law, Michael Ingram. Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Christa Schmitz Partin; a daughter, Heidi Ingram of Norfolk, VA; a daughter-in-law, Catherine Fischer of Inverness, FL; a sister, Evadine Bittner of Atwater, OH; a brother, Charles Partin of Alliance, OH; and a granddaughter, Marie Fischer. A memorial service with military honors will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by the Rev. Tommy Berry.
