Blanche Cannon Anderson

Blanche Cannon Anderson, 88, of 329 Manteo Trail, Edenton, NC, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 in Chatham Hospital, Siler City, NC. Mrs. Anderson was born in Green Sea, SC on July 7, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Walter Carl and Zula Bell White Cannon. A homemaker, she was a member of Open Door Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Floyd Anderson. Surviving are two daughters, Marsha Epperson, and Randie Parks and husband Vernon, all of Siler City; a sister, Elizabeth Smead of Edenton; two grandsons, David Thackston of Texas and Clinton Thackston of Norfolk, VA; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Open Door Church. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
