Jennifer Lynn Mansfield

Jennifer Lynn Mansfield, 27, of 112 Park Circle, Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, May 4, 2015. Jennifer was born in Chowan County on March 25, 1988, and was the daughter of Jerry Freeman Mansfield of Hertford and Michelle Tolan Arena of Elizabeth City. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Odus Mansfield. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Ariana Mummert; her son, Aidan Mummert; maternal grandmother, Rebecca Tolan of Houston, TX and maternal grandfather, Michael Tolan of Pottsville, PA; paternal grandmother, Edith Mansfield of Hertford; a brother, Michael Mansfield of Hertford; and her step-father, Rex Arena of Elizabeth City. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. in Great Hope Baptist Church, Hertford, by the Rev. George Wilmore. Friends may join the family in the social hall of the church immediately following the service.
