Teddy Lee Burns

Teddy Lee Burns, 87, of Hopewell Road, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Edenton Primetime. Mr. Burns was born in DeWitt County, Illinois on March 9, 1928, and was the son of the late Earl Edward and Mary Ellen Thrasher Burns. A retired service technician with Carolina Telephone, he had served in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Loraine Britton Burns. Surviving are three daughters, Belinda Hardison, Deborah Burns, and Andrea Dellinger; a brother, Billy Burns; five grandchildren, Dustin, Katie, Jaime, Amanda, and Christopher; and seven great-grandchildren, Hannah, Miley, Ella, Christopher, Shane, Kieran and Madison. In accordance with his wishes, all services will be private. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
