John Lee Raulerson, Jr.

John Lee "Johnny" Raulerson, Jr., 42, of 35 Sunbury Bank Street, Sunbury, NC, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in his sister's home in Elizabeth City. Johnny was born in Fort Myers, FL on December 26, 1972, and was the son of Hope Ives Raulerson of Sunbury and the late John Lee Raulerson, Sr. A mechanic, he was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In addition to his mother, surviving are his two daughters, Amber and Kristen Raulerson; a son, Daniel Raulerson, all of Edenton; five sisters, Teresa Kinsey of Moyock, Laura Casper of Gates, Brenda Bryant and Debra Riggs, both of Elizabeth City, and Grace Raulerson of Sunbury; a brother, William "Billy" Emerson of Dahlonega, GA; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Graveside services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Casper-Taylor Family Cemetery in Eure. Friends may join the family Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, and other times at the residence.
