Linda Gould Campbell

Linda Carol Gould Campbell, 72, of 19 L.T. Farm Lane, Gates, NC, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Down East Health & Rehabilitation Center, Gatesville. Ms. Campbell was born in Ohio County, WV on September 4, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Seth Jay and Helen Irene Fischer Gould. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, James Vandine, three brothers, Jerry, Harry, and Bruce Gould; and by a granddaughter, Madelyn. Surviving are her three daughters, Debbie Ann Walkingstick Sears and husband Terry of Gates, Vickie Lin Walkingstick Vandine of Holly Ridge, and Kelley Sue Campbell Feagans and husband Wayne of Lynchburg, VA; a son, John Edward Walkingstick and wife Julie of Greensboro; 11 grandchildren, Matthew, Athena, David, Mechelle, Christopher, Macey, Maddox, Bryan, Scott, Jeffrey, and Kaitlyn; and eight great-grandchildren, Genisis, Angelina, Persephanie, Julie, Logan, Lantz, Caleb, and Brayden. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in her home. Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
