Cheryle Meekins Pritchett Tyrrell

Cheryle Meekins Pritchett Tyrrell, of 129 Arapahoe Trial, Hertford, NC, died Friday, July 24, 2015 in her home. Born August 14, 1947, she was the daughter of the late L.H. and Mary "Betty" Meekins. A graduate of Great Bridge High School, she was a cosmetologist for over 40 years in the Albemarle area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Meekins. Surviving are her two sons, Gary Pritchett and wife Alicia and Ricky Pritchett; a daughter, Lorie Watson; five grandchildren, Morgan, Dylan, and Wyatt Pritchett, Carson Watson, and Saige Cobb; a step-grandson, Derek Whitehurst; a great-granddaughter, Harlyn Daniels; a brother, Kerry "Buster" Meekins; a niece, Modesta Lamb; and two nephews, Kevin and Travis Meekins. A celebration of her life will be held for family and friends at a later date. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, Hertford, assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
