Jane Marie McMahon

Jane Marie McMahon, 69, formerly of Hertford, NC, and more recently of her brother's home in Creswell, died Friday, August 7, 2015 in Albemarle Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth City. Miss McMahon was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on February 27, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Jane Smith McMahon. The former owner of Hertfordshire Antiques, and the Covent Garden Bed & Breakfast, both in Hertford, she was active in both the Downtown Merchants Association and the Chamber of Commerce. Surviving is her brother, Daniel McMahon of Creswell. A private gathering will be held at a later date. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, Hertford, assisted the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to No Kill Shelter, Feline Hope, P.O.
