Brenda Longpre Hoepfner

Brenda Adele Longpre Hoepfner, 67, of 148 New River Drive, Albemarle Plantation, Hertford, NC, died Monday, September 7, 2015 as the result of injuries received in a boating accident. Mrs. Hoepfner was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 5, 1948. The CFO of H & M Recruiting Group, she was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Elizabeth City. Surviving are her husband, John Mark Hoepfner; a daughter, Christine Pulvino and husband Joe of Baltimore, MD; two sons, Keith Hoepfner and Gregg Hoepfner, both of Hertford; and a granddaughter, Kayla Pulvino. A memorial mass will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church and will be officiated by The Rev. J. Victor Gournas. Later that afternoon, from 3 to 5 p.m., friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Life Reception at the Albemarle Plantation Club House. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to The Open Door Food Pantry in Hertford. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.millerfhc.com.
