Bobby Bryant Britton

Bobby Bryant Britton, 66, of Gilbert's Beach Road, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in his home. Mr. Britton was born on August 6, 1949 in Bertie County and was the son of the late Cecil Rhodes and Betty Gray Bennett Britton. He was retired from Virginia Electric & Power Co., (VEPCO), having worked in hydraulic maintenance. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph B. Britton. Surviving are his son, Bobby B. Britton, II and wife Beth of Palmer, Alaska; his brother, Cecil W. Britton of Sierra Vista, Arizona; and two granddaughters, Grace and Gillian. A memorial service will be held at a later date and those arrangements will be announced by Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton.
