Robert Lawrence Parker

Robert Lawrence Parker, 79, of 106 McMorrine Street, Elizabeth City, NC, died Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City. Mr. Parker was born in Pasquotank County on March 9, 1936, and was the son of the late Thomas Land and Annie Lawrence Parker. Retired from airplane maintenance having been employed in civil service, he was an Air Force veteran and a member of the William Clarence Jackson Post 6060 of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are his two daughters, Teresa D. Kloss and husband Walter of Middleburg, FL and Pamela A. Exline of Maxville, FL; a son, Robert L. Parker, Jr. of Texas; two sisters, Sandra Vernon and Juanita Nooney, both of Elizabeth City; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. At his request, no services will be held.
