Thomas Lee Allred, 69, of 125 Cheyenne Trail, Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in his home. Mr. Allred was born in Charlotte, NC on October 16, 1945, and was the son of the late Robert Lee and Frances Odessa Lloyd Allred. A barber in his earlier years, he later retired as a Hazardous Material Coordinator from Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 26 years of employment. An outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelley Allred, and by a brother, Jack Allred. Surviving are his two daughters, Cherie Fraughnaugh and husband Patrick of Norfolk, VA and Tina Marie Owens and husband Patrick of Chesapeake, VA; a son, Billy Ray Allred and wife Brooke of Chesapeake; three sisters, Joann Sain of Advance, Sheila Martin of Chesapeake, and Linda Allred of Wilson; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 2nd at 2:00 p.m. in Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church by Pastor Danny Gurganus. Friends may join the family at the residence.
