Donald B. Bunch, Sr.

Donald Branch Bunch, Sr., 81, of 674 Snug Harbor Road, Hertford, NC, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, Elizabeth City. Mr. Bunch was born in Chowan County on July 20, 1934, and was the son of the late Lonnie and Gertrude Bass Bunch. A retired police officer, he was an Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Edith Drick, and by three brothers, Milton, Alva, and Fay Bunch. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Charlotte Bunch; two sons, Donald Bunch, Jr. of Hertford and Robert Bunch of Annapolis, MD; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery.
