Sherrol Lynn Jordan

Sherrol Lynn Jordan, 62, of 37 Zion Road, Hobbsville, NC, died Monday, November 30, 2015 in her home.

Miss Jordan was born in Suffolk, VA on February 8, 1953, and was the daughter of the late Kermit Edward and Helen Chaney Brown Jordan. A graduate of Atlantic Christian College in Wilson, she retired as a Special Education teacher from Elizabeth City-Pasquotank County Schools. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her sister, Denise Paruscio and husband Thomas of Greensboro; a nephew, Jordan Paruscio of Winston-Salem; and a niece, Ashley Paruscio of Hillsborough.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in Zion United Methodist Church by the Rev. Steven Hall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, and other times at the residence.
