   Darlene Harrell Dail, 55, of 419 County Line Road, Tyner, NC, died Sunday, January 3, 2016 in her home.

 

   Born in Chowan County on September 14, 1960, she was the daughter of Martha Virginia Thach Lamb of Hertford and the late Earl David Harrell, Jr. A loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, she was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.

 

   Surviving along with her mother are her life-long partner, Jack Dail of Tyner; her step-father, Elisha Lamb of Hertford; three sisters, Diane Chalk of Belvidere, Karen Dail and husband Gene, and Christie Lamb, all of Hertford; three brothers, David Harrell and wife Karen of Tyner, Danny Harrell and wife Rita of Hobbsville, and Dennis Harrell and wife Kathy of Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

 

   A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church by Pastor Joe Jackson. Friends may join the family in the church immediately following the service on Thursday, and all other times at her mother’s home, 182 Beech Spring Road, Hertford. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements.
