Wade Clifton Britt

   Wade Clifton Britt, 42, of 418 Wingfield Road, Tyner, NC, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton.

   Wade was born on February 8, 1973 in Chowan County, and was the son of Jackie Clifton Britt and Sue Barnette Britt. A painter with Bateman Painting Contractors, he was raised in the fellowship of Cape Colony Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Keith Britt.

   In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Megan Elizabeth Britt and her mother, Linda, of Concord, NC; three sisters, Jacqueline Britt Byrum and husband Steve of Merry Hill, Amy Britt Long and husband Dwayne, and Hayley Britt Clifton and husband Paul, all of Edenton; and by many, many friends and extended family members.

   Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, by the Revs. Thomas Biggs and Donald Sawyer. Burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may join the family Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home and all other times at Hayley and Paul’s home, 1200 Macedonia Road, Edenton.
