Marty Paige Riddick

   Marty Paige Riddick, 58, of 369 Paige Riddick Road, Gates, NC, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016 in his home.

   Marty was born in Suffolk, VA on July 17, 1957, and was the son of the late Paul Paige and Hope Outland Riddick. A 30 year employee of Smithfield Packing Corp., he was a member of Damascus Christian Church in Sunbury, and the Gatesville Hunt Club.

   Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Denise Johnson Riddick; and their children, Lillian Grace Riddick, Daniel Paige Riddick, and Jonathan Neil Riddick, all of Gates; his sister, Kathy Burns and husband Dave of Apex; and his granddaughter, Remington Paige Riddick.

   Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Reynoldson Baptist Church by the Revs. Cody Brinkley and Billy Presley. A private burial will follow in Damascus Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville; or in the social hall of Reynoldson Church immediately following the service on Tuesday, or all other times at the residence.
