Denise Harrell Dail

   Denise Harrell Dail, 53, of 145 Hunter’s Fork Road, Tyner, NC, left this world to be with her Heavenly Father, on Monday, April 11, 2016 from Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

   Denise was born on May 8, 1962 and was a life-long resident of Chowan County. A faithful member of Center Hill Baptist Church, she had recently been attending Fountain of Life Ministries in Elizabeth City. During her life, and even through her three and a half year illness battling cancer, she took every opportunity to praise her Lord and share his good works and blessings with others. A pre-loader with the Edenton Terminal of United Parcel Service for 28 years, she also co-owned with her husband Hunter’s Fork Farms.

   She was preceded in death by her father, Fleetwood Linwood Harrell, Sr., and by a sister, Sherry H. Layden.

   Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Ken Dail; her daughter, Casey D. Lowe and husband Ben of Hertford; her son, Blake Dail of Tyner; her mother, Betty Jane Chappell Harrell; a sister, Hope Harrell; brothers, Fleetwood L. “Buddy” Harrell, Jr. and wife Cathy, and Jack “Tony” Harrell and wife Terri, all of Tyner, and Paul Harrell and wife Lisa of Hertford; her paternal grandmother, Ethel Dale Harrell; and a granddaughter, Kaiden Lowe.

   A Celebration of Her Life, and a Time of Worship, will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Fountain of Life Ministries, 1107 US Hwy 17, Elizabeth City, and will be officiated by Pastors Hans Hess, Russell Blanchard, and Buck Leary. A private burial will follow in the Dail Family Cemetery near the home. Friends may join the family Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and other times at the residence.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Missions or Ministries charity of the donor’s choice.
