Willie Lee Felton

   Willie Lee Felton, 67, of 124 Center Hill Church Road, Tyner, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Vidant Chowan Hospital, Edenton.

   Mr. Felton was born in Chowan County on July 3, 1948, and was the son of Augustine Felton Copeland of Jamaica, New York and the late Anthony Cleophus Coston, Sr. Formerly employed with Chowan Hospital as an Orderly and in the House Keeping Dept., he had also worked at Chicken Kitchen, at Emily’s Restaurant, and had been a care-giver for the elderly. He was a member of Center Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

   In addition to his mother, he is survived by nine sisters, Dorothy McKnight and Nataria Copeland, both of New York, Brenda Coston, Katherine Bond, Edith Jackson, Antonia Perry, and Emily Jackson, all of Edenton, Freda Wills of High Point, and Janet Sykes of Norfolk, VA; three brothers, Anthony Coston, Jr. and John Coston, both of Edenton, and Dean Wills of Baltimore, MD; two special friends, Carrie Privott and Elizabeth Fain; three aunts, Margaret Lewis, Evelyn Lundy, and Olivia Kemp; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

   Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be officiated by the Rev. Edna Lawrence.  The burial will follow in Center Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery on Sandy Ridge Road in Tyner, and will officiated by the Rev. Carl Coston. A visitation will be held Saturday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
