Brian Christopher Clapp

   Brian Christopher Clapp, 36, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 in Elizabeth City.

   Brian was born in Durham, NC on February 5, 1980, and was employed as a Catastrophic Agent with Allstate Insurance Company.

   Surviving are his parents, Trish Askew Joines and husband T.J. of Mebane, and Christopher Lee Clapp and wife Vicky of Danbury; his children, Alexis, Chris, Tony, and Gavin; two brothers, Jay Joines of Richmond, VA and Lee Joines of Elizabeth City; his paternal grandmother, Doris Clapp of Burlington; his uncles, Hardy Askew and wife Diane of Gates, David Clapp of Burlington, Johnny Moore and wife Carla, and Jimmy Joines, all of Hillsborough, and Adrian Durham and wife Carolyn of Efland.

   A gathering for friends to join the family will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville.
