Deanna Finigan Callaway

   Deanna Finigan Callaway, 48, of Adams Loop Road, Corapeake, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA.

    Mrs. Callaway was born in Sussex County, NJ on November 5, 1967, and was the daughter of Frances May Deppner of Norfolk, VA and the late Albert Robert Deppner. A homemaker, she was a Baptist by faith.

    Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband of 25 years, Hershel Ray Callaway; a daughter, Danielle Callaway; a son, Neal Callaway, all of Corapeake; three step-daughters, Denise Callaway of Virginia Beach, VA, Tanya Callaway and Ashley Callaway, both of Portsmouth; a step-son, Herschel Callaway of Chesapeake, VA; a sister, Robin Wisdak of Chesapeake; a brother, Chris Finigan of Norfolk; two granddaughters, Michelle and Lexia; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

    Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville. Burial will follow in Damascus Christian Church Cemetery.  Friends may join the family Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home, and all other times at the residence.
