Kimberly Lynn Smith

   Kimberly Lynn Smith, 54, of Eure, NC, a loving wife, mother, and friend, left us to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 7, 2016.

   A special person, words cannot say how much she was loved and will be missed.

   Surviving are her husband of nearly 25 years, James Gilbert “Smitty” Smith; a daughter, Krystina Jade Smith; a son, James Gilbert Smith, II; and her mother, Betty Cardwell Still.

   A private service will be held. Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.

A poem written by her daughter:

Such a beautiful woman, with a radiant smile,

We will cry and the pain will linger awhile.

Now that the future seems so unclear,

How could something happen to someone so dear?

We cherished every moment you spent with us,

We will miss your laugh, your love, and your gentle touch.

Your life was cut short but we breathe a sigh of relief,

We know you’re not in pain, you’re sunning on your own personal beach.

You impacted us all in a unique and special way,

We all love and miss you,

But we will be together again one day.
