Denis Lewis

   Denis Lewis, 75, of 103 Seagull Drive, Winton, NC, and formerly of Kembridge, VA, died Sunday, June 19, 2016.

   Mr. Lewis was born in England and was the son of the late Jerome W. and Doris Lewis Nipper. He was a retired driver in the trucking industry.

   Surviving are four brothers, Jerome D. “Jerry” Nipper of Portsmouth, VA, Kenneth A. “Darrell” Nipper of Lake Gaston, NC, Raymond Lee Nipper of Winton, and Rodney Blake Nipper of Chesapeake; a sister, Donna Jean Riggs of Portsmouth; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

   A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, assisted the family with arrangements.
