Wilma Caddy Dail

   Wilma Ann Caddy Dail, 81, of 1270 New Hope Road, Hertford, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Powell’s Point.

   Mrs. Dail was born in Perquimans County on April 21, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Uric Calvin and Pearl Jordan Caddy. A homemaker, she was a faithful member of Berea Church of Christ and its Christian Women’s Fellowship.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Ray “Flutch” Dail, Sr.

   Surviving are two daughters, Donna Dail Casper and husband William of Harbinger, and Kim Dail Vance and companion Douglas Sullivan of Powell’s Point; a son, Lloyd Ray Dail, Jr. of Norfolk, VA; two sisters, Oneida Cartwright and Louvenia Narron, both of Hertford; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

   Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Berea Church of Christ and will be officiated by Minister Harold Rutledge. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, handling arrangements. Friends may join the family Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home and all other times at the residence.
