Archie Hiram Swain

   Archie Hiram Swain, 64, of 324 Brayhall Road, Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Vidant Chowan Hospital.

   Mr. Swain was born in Tyrrell County on February 2, 1952, and was the son of the late Linton Temple and Linda Nancy Bridgman Swain. He was employed with Links at Mulberry Hill in Edenton.

   Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Dianna Boyce Swain; a son, Bert Swain of Concord; a sister, Rose Abbullah of Edenton; two brothers, Larry Swain of Edenton and Tony Swain of Clayton; and a granddaughter, Anna Swain.

   Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be officiated by Minister Raymond Stadtmuller, Jr. Friends may join the family in the funeral home during the hour prior to the services beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
