Kathy Lynne Stallings

   Kathy Lynne Stallings, 56, of 107 Lowe's Lane, Hertford, NC, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016.

   Kathy was a lifelong resident of Perquimans County and was born on December 23, 1959 to the late Alvin Rountree Stallings and Henrietta Lane Stallings. A medical assistant, she had worked with Dr. Ahmad Ali in Edenton for the past 18 years. She was a member of Hertford Pentecostal Holiness Church.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Leon Stallings.

   Surviving are two brothers, Philip W. Stallings and wife Kelly of Tyner, and E. Ray Stallings and wife Theresa of Hertford; three nieces, Dawn Blowe (Christian), Ashley Nixon (Steven), and Nickey Powell (Tony); a nephew, Eric Stallings; five great-nieces, Whitney, Caroline, and Emilee Blowe, and Claire and Harper Powell; and her faithful canine companion, Simba.

   Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Stallings Family Cemetery on Fred Stallings Lane in the Sandy Cross Community, and will be officiated by her pastor, The Rev. H. Gene Boyce. Friends may join the family Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, and all other times at Ray and Theresa's home, 230 Lowe's Lane, Hertford.
