Ernest Linwood McDaniel

   Ernest Linwood McDaniel, 60, of 1100 Goose Road, Robersonville, NC, died Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

   Mr. McDaniel was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 7, 1956, and was the son of Lia DiMaria McDaniel of Edenton, and the late Gladston V. McDaniel.  He was employed in the carpentry and roofing industry.

   Surviving in addition to his mother is a daughter, Leanne Peterson and husband Ron of Okinawa, Japan; a sister, Laura M. Wilkins, and a brother, Gary Thomas McDaniel, both of Edenton; and a granddaughter, Lily Ana Peterson.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at the Farm and Country Camp Ground, 2301 Ed’s Grocery Road, Williamston, NC  27892.  Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, Edenton, assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
