H.S. "Buddy" Reynolds

H. S. "Buddy" Reynolds, 85, of 612 Bethany Church Road, Belvidere, NC, died Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation, Hertford.

Mr. Reynolds was born in Patrick County, VA on July 25, 1931, and was the son of the late H. T. and Mildred Fulcher Reynolds. A retired farmer, he was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. A veteran, he had served in the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nan White Reynolds, and by a sister, Ivis.

Surviving are his son, H. S. "Bud" Reynolds, II and fiancée Ann of Belvidere; six sisters, Dae, Mae, Sue, Drue, Elva, and Irvine; and his grandson, Wayne.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in Bethany United Methodist Church and will be officiated by his pastor, Rev. Vickie Woolard. A private burial will follow in the White Family Cemetery near the home. Friends may join the family Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford.
