William Patrick Lewis

   William Patrick “Pat” Lewis, 73, formerly of Lake Road, Hertford, NC and more recently of Tyner Manor, died Tuesday, December 13, 2016 in Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.

   Pat was born in Perquimans County on May 23, 1943, and was the son of the late William Talmadge and Callie Patrick Lewis.  He was raised in the fellowship of Oak Grove United Methodist Church.

   Surviving are his sister, Mildred Howell of Tyner; a niece, Donna Johnson and husband Jamie of Moyock, and their family, Kendal and Karsen; a nephew, Kent Howell of Tyner, and his family, Stefenie Brinson and husband Jacob, and Katlyn Howell.  Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.

   Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Oak Grove United Methodist Church and will be conducted by his pastor, The Rev. Gayla Collins.  A private burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Friends may join the family in the fellowship hall of the church immediately following the service.
