Jorgen Harald Jorgensen

   Jorgen Harald Jorgensen, 79, of Blackfoot Trail, Edenton, NC, died Friday, December 23, 2016.

   Mr. Jorgensen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on January 14, 1937, and was the son of the late Earling Laurits Rasmus and Edith Agnes Jorgensen. A retired tool and die maker, he was a veteran of the Danish Defense.

   Surviving are his wife, Joyce Shellito Jorgensen; two daughters, Betina Ravr and husband Peter and Vivi Mark and husband Henrik; a son, Henrik Jorgensen; seven step-children; a sister; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

   A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Arrowhead Beach Club House. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with the cremation arrangements.
